Random craft project I'm tackling: a cushion for this yard sale church pew my husband found in 2003. The fabric came from a local thrift store and the foam just came in from an on-line store. Now to get it done!

After an elderly friend told me she had to get going because it was her laundry day, I determined to assign a day. Mondays are my laundry day. Unfortunately, it tends to drag itself into Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday too.

Yup, above the bed is a great place to hold The Answer until I need it again. Every day it reminds me to keep my relationship with Christ at my center because He is where the answers are always found. I make my bed nearly every morning. It makes me feel that, no matter how much I get done or not, I’ve accomplished something.

I type up a shopping list based on six random days’ menus (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, & drinks) at a time from The New 365 Day Menu Cookbook from Weight Watchers. I use it for the healthy balance of foods, altering it to meet my present gluten free mission. I purchase full fat ingredients, rather than diet, as I’m not using it to lose weight. Using my complete shopping list, I “shop” at home first and then shop for what is missing at the grocery store. Preplanning to this degree has made my life so much easier! There’s nothing worse than not knowing what to make the family for dinner at 4pm.
